Terms and Conditions Art of
Travel, LLC, 2007
Please Read Carefully Booking Procedures: Deposits/Payments: A deposit is
due at the time of your reservation.
For domestic trips the deposit is $300.
For international tours the deposit is $500. Final
Payment: Final
payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
Returned checks and late payments are subject to a $25
charge. If you book
within 60 days of tour departure, the entire amount is due and
the tour may be subject to increase. Cancellations and Changes: If
You Cancel Your Tour the Following Cancellation/Refund Policy
Applies: The
following schedule applies to all Art of Travel Operated Tours. 75 days
prior to departure……$50 administrative fee is lost from your
deposit 74-60 days
prior to departure. Your deposit is lost ($300/$500 depending on
destination) 59-29 days
prior to departure 25%
of tour cost 28-16 days

of your Cancellation to Art of Travel, LLC: Art of
Travel, LLC must be notified of all cancellations in writing.
Date of Cancellation will be considered the first
business day after the notice is received. Recommendations
for Trip Cancellation Insurance to protect your trip investment: Art of
Travel strongly recommends you purchase cancellation, medical
& baggage insurance for your tour.
This valuable protection is available for purchase
through Art of Travel. You

may call the insurance company of your choice.
For rate calculation or policy questions with Travel
Guard you may call 800-549 9037.
If you make a claim be sure you have seen a doctor and
authenticated the reason for your cancellation.
If
Art of Travel Cancels a Tour: Art of
Travel reserves the right to cancel a tour, change the
itinerary, airline, or adjust rates whenever in its sole
judgment conditions warrant, or if necessary for your comfort,
convenience or safety. If
a tour must be recost, you will be notified 60 days prior.
If the supplementary fee is not accepted by you, you will
be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid.
Reasons of force
majeure (technical problems with transportation, closure of
airports, war-declared or not- riots, terrorist activities,
civil disturbances, strikes) AOT will inform agents and direct
clients without delay offering an alternative holiday or a
prompt full refund of all monies paid. Changes,
Deviations & Extensions of Your Tour: Art of
Travel is happy to assist you with any changes to our Land/Air
package. However, a booking of this type requires additional
staff time and telephone calls necessary to coordinate these
changes. Therefore,
a $50 per person non-refundable change fee will be assessed for
the initial change, deviation, upgrades, extensions, in addition
to any other charges from suppliers. Further changes or modifications will be charged at
an additional fee of $25 per person, per change. Documentation: Passports
& Visas Trips
outside of the United States require a valid US passport or
other government issued form of citizenship proof.
You are responsible for and release AOT from any
passport, visa, vaccination requirements and safety conditions
in travel destinations. You
may obtain a passport form at certain US Post Offices, or call
the National Passport Center at 888-362-8668.
You may call Zierer Visa Service (a private firm) for
Visa information at 800-843 9151. Other: Smoking: Smoking is
not allowed on chartered transportation. Baggage
Information: Porterage
for one suitcase on the tour is included.
Dimensions are not to exceed 58 linear inches.
Weight is not to exceed 60 Lbs.
A charge of $3 per hotel will be collected by the tour
manager if a 2nd piece is checked or for an oversize
suitcase. Airlines
may also impose fees on oversized luggage for which the
passenger will be responsible.
One carry on is allowed. Tour Terms: Land
Only: “Land
Only” means the customer will provide their own airfare.
In case of a schedule change from an airline, the
passenger will bear the responsibility and/or expense. Airport
transfers may or may not be included for a Land Only package. Ground
Only: “Ground
Only” means the customer has purchased only the land
arrangement—no hotel and no airfare. Not
Included in the Tour Price: Tips to
drivers, local guides etc. Please note this important general information regarding Terms and Conditions: Taxes:
Prices do not include unexpected increases in airport departure
taxes or any new taxes, including city and hotel taxes imposed
after publication of our prices. Gateway
cities and regional airports:
Cities, airline routing and business class are subject to
availability and can change or be deleted without notice.
Order of events and routing may change. Special
Needs:
It may not be possible to provide individual assistance
to a tour member for walking or special personal needs.
We reserve the right to decline to accept any person as a
member of the tour, or to require any participant to withdraw
from the trip at any time who presents a significant risk to the
health or safety of himself/herself, or others which cannot be
eliminated or reduced to an acceptable level by reasonable
accommodation. Errors
and Changes: We reserve the
right to correct errors in the advertised price prior to
departure. We
reserve the right to substitute hotels at any time.
In case of a change in tour arrangement, we will not be
responsible to any person for expenses, loss of time, money or
other circumstance resulting from a change in itinerary. Responsibility: Consumer
Disclosure Notice: Please read
the terms and conditions carefully as your deposit and payment
for a trip constitutes consent to all conditions and general
information contained in the flyer.
Your trip has been arranged by Art of Travel, LLC.
It has made the travel arrangement as agent for the
transportation carriers and other suppliers of services
connected with the tour all of which are independent
contractors. AOT in
no way owns or operates the vehicles or facilities to be used
during the trip and does not guarantee or assume responsibility
for the acts or omissions of suppliers, their employees, agents
etc. All bookings
are accepted subject to the conditions imposed by the suppliers
and AOT including airline, cruise line, rail, motor coach,
hotels, restaurants, insurance and other companies, firms or
persons concerned with the trip.
AOT will make no refund in the event of their delay,
cancellations, overbooking, strike, force majeure, or for
elements of the package not used by the customer.
If there is a difference between the AOT conditions and
those published by a supplier, the conditions of the supplier
shall apply. Currency Fluctuation: Art of Travel has the right to surcharge for currency fluctuations, which may occur before international travel begins. Other Useful Information for You: Travel

information call the U.S. Public Health Service at 301 443 2403,
or a public health clinic. Livetravel: There are
several companies you can call for emergency travel needs like
rebooking air, returning lost luggage, or making emergency
ground reservations. You can pay a fee for this service and call
800-221-0580 (domestic) or internationally collect 715-346-0830
